I have seen well over 50 some odd incompetent psychiatrists in my life time . This is for me the only positive experience I have ever had. Eric Goad is a thoughtful,intelligent and helpful doctor. If you want someone who will work with you on your treatment plan as opposed to some pez pill dispensary then this will work for you. Also there biofeedback department has good people running the show to. I see a ton of complaints about scheduling, yet all I can think is I have yet to see any medical office that does not make these anxiety inducing mistakes. Almost all business today have evil computer programs that automate punishing you if you change this, or missing that. The few run-ins I have experienced have been cleared up when I talked to the staff. Everyone everywhere is over worked, it sucks to say, but in the shoe string budget world one needs to double check appointments and stay on top of things. That is the reality we all have to live in. As for me without Nystrom & Associates I would have continued to be another faceless/nameless dehumanized person in the system being drugged to oblivion and that place is pure hell. I got real help here, part of my life back and I am very happy.

Staff(doctors) changes a lot here; make sure you review your charges; also make sure if you are coming in for a simple medicine check that you keep the time that you are with the doctor because they charge you in time increments.

I have been to Nystrom at my request for 3 months now and I have been here before for Chemical Dependency. I requested Nystrom for there excellent therapy that has kept me sober before. I have been to a few Outside Treatment programs and Nystrom is unique and the only one that provides mental health support in our group sessions.DBT skills are extremely helpful recovery tools and the mental health provider and CD counselor are a great Team together. I have been told by my previous CD counselors and therapists that mental health and CD recovery go together hand and fist and it is great to see Nystrom is again ahead of the situation.

I don't know why anyone has negative things to say about this branch of Nystrom. My PA Jake who manages my meds is very kind and gentle and genuinely cares about what is going on in my life. He helped me and listened as I was going through a miscarriage and shared personal struggles as well. The front desk staff is always friendly and welcoming. I've never had a problem here.

Their "Adolescent DBT" 20 week program literally saved my teenage daughter's life and has been a huge help to me too. Suicide, depression, anxiety, and self-harm have been her struggles and nothing else worked until we came here. This program is well run and comprehensive including: -individual weekly therapy for her -individual weekly therapy for myself -24 hour therapy help line -a weekly 2 hour group session learning life-saving emotional and interpersonal management skills with other parents and teens going through the same issues. We have experienced 2 other DBT programs that don't hold a candle to this one. I am so thankful for this program and would recommend it to everyone.

Great customer service from the greeting at the front desk to the clinician. They worked well with my needs and we're understanding of my limitations. I will be returning.

I have been to 5 different therapists with my daughter and these therapists are the only ones who actually bring about change as opposed to just talking about the issues. The DBT program helps parents follow through to support changes at home. I love this kind but truthful approach.
